2022 AC Water Main Replacements

• Description: This project involved replacing approximately 14,920 linear feet of 16-inch, 12-inch, and 8-inch ductile iron water main in the Towns of Selma and Kenly. This included abandoning existing asbestos concrete water mains and associated appurtenances. The project also featured installations using horizontal directional drilling (HDD) and bore and jack methods for crossings under roads, a wetland feature, and a railroad. The work encompassed three main segments: one in the Town of Selma along US-70, and two in the Town of Kenly along Johnston Parkway Road and near the I-95 Bagley Road ramp.
