Johnston County has officially rescinded the water shortage advisory previously issued on June 9, 2026, which requested voluntary water conservation measures. We appreciate your cooperation during this period. 

 Reminder: Mandatory Year-Round Irrigation Policy

Although the water shortage advisory has been lifted, the County’s mandatory year-round conservation policy remains in effect. Outdoor irrigation (for in-ground systems and hose-end sprinklers) and pool filling must follow this alternate-day schedule based on your street address:

Street Address Type	Allowed Watering & Pool Filling Days
Odd-Numbered Addresses	Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays
Even-Numbered Addresses	Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays
All Addresses	NO IRRIGATION ALLOWED ON MONDAYS
