Important Notice: Temporary Customer Service Closure

The Public Utilities Customer Service counter will close at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, to allow our team to complete fiscal year closing procedures.

Online, phone, and in-person payments will be temporarily unavailable during this time.

You may still submit payments via our secure drop box located at the Johnston County Land Use Center, 309 E. Market Street, Smithfield, NC 27577.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your cooperation as we wrap up our fiscal year. Regular operations will resume on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at 8:00 am.
