Opioid Task Force

The Johnston County Opioid Task Force is a collaborative group of many professionals, organizations, townships, and community members. It began in 2017 in response to the opioid crisis around the county, state, and our country. 

The purpose of the group is to create partnerships and find solutions to combat the opioid epidemic. Updates and strategic planning regarding Johnston County Opioid Settlement Funds are also discussed.

The Opioid Task Force meets quarterly on the second Tuesday of the month from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Johnston County Public Health main building.
