Johnston County Offices Closed Tomorrow Due to Inclement Winter Weather

Smithfield, N.C. - Johnston County offices and facilities will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026, due to unsafe travel conditions resulting from this weekend’s winter storm. 

The County landfill, Solid Waste Convenience sites, Public Health, and Animal Services will also be closed. Online services will remain available at www.JohnstonNC.gov
