Johnston County's proposed Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) drop-in sessions
Thanks to everyone who stopped by the Ag Center for our first of two drop-in sessions on Johnston County’s proposed Unified Development Ordinance (UDO). Attendees navigated through stations set up around the auditorium, which highlighted key aspects of the proposed ordinance, including subdivision standards and required buffers between new development and neighboring farms.
If you weren't able to make it, you have another opportunity to learn about the proposed UDO and ask questions face-to-face.
A second drop-in session will be held on Wednesday, September 23, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the lobby of the Paul A. Johnston Auditorium at
Johnston Community College, 245 College Road, Smithfield. County staff and consultants will again be on hand to answer questions.
