Unified Development Ordinance Photos and Updates from March 23rd

A large and engaged audience turned out for last night’s town hall meeting on Johnston County’s proposed Unified Development Ordinance. We appreciate everyone who came out to the Ag Center in-person and those who watched live online.

The meeting opened with a presentation by County planning staff and a consultant from Kimley-Horn. Questions and comments from audience members followed. Afterward, the audience visited information stations to learn about the document in detail, asked more questions, and offered suggestions for improving the UDO.

The County’s planning staff will take their suggestions and incorporate them into the next draft of the UDO. Residents can expect to see that revision in the coming weeks. You'll be able to find it online at https://johnstonnc.gov/planning or https://www.johnstonnc.gov/UDO.
