Plat Approval Policy

All testing completed. Final inspection held with contractor and Engineering.
Subdivision with water/sewer installed without underground power installed.       Subdivision with water/sewer installed with underground power installed.
     
County will accept utilities and set meters with:
  • Passing bacteriological test results not older than 30 days.
  • Engineering certifications.
  • Contractor's lien waiver.
  • Record drawings.
  • Punch list completed.

County will sign plat but will not accept utilities or set meters with:

  • Letter of credit, bond, or cash payment in value of the uncompleted with a minimum value of $10,000.
  • Passing bacteriological test results.
      County will sign plat, accept utilities, and set meters with:
  • Passing bacteriological test results not older than 30 days.
  • Engineering certifications.
  • Contractor's lien waiver.
  • Record drawings.
  • Punch list completed.
  • Stormwater certification
     
Re-Inspection after underground power installed.
*Release letter of credit, bond, or cash payment.
1 Year warranty begins.

*If letter of credit/bond/or cash payment includes security for stormwater or erosion control completion, the security will not be released until an engineer's certification is received confirming completion of all stormwater and/or erosion control.
