The Johnston County 911 Communications Center is the primary public safety answering point for all Law of the Johnston County Municipalities, and all Fire and EMS of the County of Johnston. Our center's professional staff is dedicated to providing quality service to help ensure that Johnston County is a safe and secure community. 911 provides around-the-clock 911 access and services to the residents and user agencies in and around Johnston County by answering both emergency and non-emergency calls and dispatching appropriate units.

We are proud to be an Accredited Center of Excellence (ACE) with certifications in Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD), Emergency Police Dispatch (EPD), and Emergency Fire Dispatch (EFD). Johnston County was the third 911 center in the United States, and the first 911 center in the State of North Carolina, to become accredited in all three protocols.
