911 Communications Department for the 2023 Portable Radio PSAP Grant This grant is a reimbursement grant for the purchase of 13 Harris EX - 185 700 800 mhz portable radios Staff respectfully requests the Board to accept the grant award , approval of the agreement and designate signature authority to the County Manager or E - Central Johnston Co Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility Preliminary Treatment Facility Improvements Project The bid opening for the CJCRWWTF Preliminary Treatment Improvements project was originally scheduled for November 16 , 2023 However , only one bid was received The bid received on November 16 , 2023 was not opened , and the project was re - advertised for bid on February 1 , 2024 The project includes replacement of fine screens in the influent structure , new screenings conveyor , new screenings compactor , replacement of slide gates in the screenings wetwell , new grit removal facility with classifier and relocation of electrical and process piping in the vicinity of the new grit removal facility The County received two 2 bids on February 1 , 2024 Please refer to the attached summary tabulation of bids Dellinger , Inc of Monroe , NC submitted the lowest responsive bid in the amount of 9,741,09200 Dellinger is properly licensed and experienced in the type of construction involved Expense Construction Phase -
