10 HIGHLIGHTS OF THE JOHNSTON COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MEETING AUGUST 1 , 2022 - 6 00 PM Videos of the Johnston County Board of Commissioners meetings may be viewed at the following https wwwyoutubecom jocogovnc Appointments from 10 00 AM Meeting Chairman RS “ Butch ” Lawter , Jr stated the Board utilized written ballots at the 10 00 am meeting for the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board appointment and the Hospital Authority nomination Chairman Lawter stated the votes have been tallied and he announced the following appointment nominations were made Alcoholic Beverage Control Board – Jeff Carver was appointed for a term to expire on October 31 , 2025 Hospital Authority Nomination – Brad Oakes was nominated The nomination will be sent to the Hospital Authority for review and recommendation Chairman Lawter will make the final appointment at the Board’s September 6 , 2022 meeting 1 Approval Discussion of Agenda – Agenda approved with the addition of a Closed Session for NCGS 14331811 a 3 – Attorney - Client Privilege and NCGS 14331811 a 4 – Economic Development 2 Public Comments The following individuals addressed the Board during Public Comment ?
