Robert Anderson, Polly Richardson,Richard Williams, Betty Brtmmett, Mary Ann Hinson, Nancy Babcock, Shirley Cohen, Becky Williams,Eddie Perkinson, Judge Elton Pridgen, Kim Bagley, Harold Blizzard, Randy Mitchell and JerryWilsonCommissioner John Booker seconded the motion which was carried by unanimous vote7ii qDecember 1, 1980 Continued26 Secondary Road # 2110 - Add SegmentCommissioner Frank B Holding moved that a segment be added to Secondary Road # 2110due to relocationCommissioner Howard Benton seconded the motion which was carried by unanimous vote27 Secondary Road # 2342 - DamagesCommissioner John M Booker moved that Paul Anderson, District Engineer, North CarolinaDepartment of Transportation, examine Secondary Road # 2342 for damages due to the excessiveamount of heavy trucks on this roadCommissioner Frank B Holding seconded the motion which was carried by unanimous vote28 1979 -1980 Audit ReportDaniel G Matthews, CPA, met with the board and reviewed the annual audit report forthe 1979 -1980 fiscal year Mr Matthews pointed out the difference in the cash balance fromthis year as compared to the previous year and made some recommendations for improvements inthe bookkeeping procedures Mr Matthews also recommended some fire proof cabinets for theFinance Office, and talked with the board further about insurance coverage and Public OfficialBonds The board asked Johnnie Stott to get some prices on fire proof cabinets and to talkwith the county insurance agent about insurance coverageUpon a motion by Commissioner Howard Benton, duly seconded by Commissioner John MBooker, and carried by unanimous vote, the board recessed until Monday night, December 1,1980, at 7 oclock pmEleanor N Creech,Clerk to the Board121580
