Schedule B LicenseCommissioner Frank B Holding moved that Ernest Atkinson, a disabled veteran, who had appliedfor a Schedule B License, be issued one without charge as provided by lawCommissioner Norman C Denning seconded the motion which was carried18 Advertisement - Ambulances,; -Radio Equipment and Installation - Ambulance and Rescue ServiceCommissioner Norman C Denning moved that the Auditors Office be authorized to advertise for bidsto be opened July 6, 1971, at 230 pm, for three 3 1972 ambulances fully equipped and radio equipmentand installation for the Johnston County Ambulance and Rescue ServiceCommissioner Freddie Adams seconded the motion which was carried19 Tax Attorney - Waste Disposal CompanyMr Joe Grimes with Waste Disposal Company of Smithfield, North Carolina, met again with theBoard to further discuss a sanitary landfill operation for Johnston CountyThe Board authorized Commissioner Adam J Whitley, Jr and W R Britt, County Attorney, towork with Mr Grimes in drawing up specifications for a sanitary landfill and report back to the Boardat the earliest possible date22 Alvin Broughton -
