certain repairsare needed to the ceiling of the Health Department Building and that he hadcontacted severalcontractors, and that the prices quoted were very nearly the sameCommissioner Frank Holding moved that Chairman Johnson be authorized to use his owngood judgment in making the necessary improvements at theHealth Center BuildingThe motion was seconded by Commissioner Norman Denning and carried19 Letter - Smithfield Chamber of CommerceChairman Johnson presented a letter that he had received from Fred a Woodard, Presidentof the Smithfield Chamber of Commerce, in which the Chamber of Commerce offered severalsuggestions with respect to better government IThe Board fully discussed the contents of the letter and authorized W H Britt, Clerkto the Board, to write a letter thanking,the Chamber of,Commerce and advising that, considerationwas being given to their suggestionsUpon a motion made, seconded, and carried, the Board adjoirned
