State Highway Commissioner - Status N C 50Commissioner Holding moved that W H Britt, Clerk, be ordered to write Mr Carl Renfro,State Higbway Commissioner, inquiring the status of any pending improvements to Highway N C50 between Benson and GarnerThe motion was seconded by Commissioner Whitley and carried8 Paul Keller, Director of Johnston County Community Action, Incj Paul Keller, Director of Johnston County Community Action, Inc, appeared before the Boardand discussed the progress of some of the projects his organization is now working on,and alsothe possibility of future programs He informed the Board that he had not used all of theCounty appropriation provided for his Agency in the 1966 -67 Budget He asked that 650000 ofthe balance of this appropriation be turned over to his Agency prior to July l, 1967, in orderthat it could be carried over into next years budget He explained that he did not need itI now, but probably would next year in order to help finance some future programs that should,be coming upThe Board took no action on Mr Kellers requestUpon a motion made and duly seconded the Board adjourned
