T WhiteWarren McCullers, Attorney, appeared before the Board with Mr H T White of Clayton, and made anoffer to purchase a certain, lot in Clayton Township, known as Lot # 38 of the McCullers sub-division, itbeing lot # 63 Map 30 of the Johnston County tax maps, which Mr McCullers said now belongs to theCountyCommissioner Austin made a motion that the County sell to Mr H T White, for 10000, the abovedescribed lot if and when Miss Rhetta Martin,, Tax Attorney, passed title on it, and further moved thatMiss Martin, if satisfied that the lot is property of the County-,draw a deed at said election was 24,8382 The number of votes cast at said election For the bond order authorizing 3,000,000 bonds tofinance the cost of erecting in the Johnston County School Administrative Unit several new buildings tobe used as school houses, school garages,, physical education and vocational education buildings,,teacherages and lunchrooms, and other school plant facilities and of reconstructing and enlarging, bythe erection of additions, several existing buildings located in such unit and used, for such purposes,and of acquiring land and furnishings and equipment necessary for such now or reconstructed or enlargedbuildings, in-ord,er to enable the County of Johnston, as an administrative agency of the public schoolsystem of the State of North Carolina to maintain public schools in said school administrative unit forthe nine months school term prescribed by law, and a tax therefor was 3,727 and the number of votescast at said election AGAINST said bond order and tax was 2,,770, and a majority of the qualified votersof said County who voted at said election voted to approve said bond order and said proposed indebtedness3 A statement showing the number of votes
