the State will allowmatching labor, and 12,000 in donations in the bank Mr Gurley requested the boardto reserve the countys commitment of 10,000 made last year He further explained the10,000 from the county is needed to complete the project estimated at a cost ofapproximately 100,000; and hopefully they will be able to break ground by mid July ofthis yearMr Gurley thanked the Board of Commissioners for their consideration andinterest in this project7 Hospital Board of Trustee ApplicantLouise Sewell of Smithfield ubmitted an application for appointment to theHospital Board of Trustees and asked thel board for consideration8 Fire Works Display - Archer Lodge Community and Four Oaks CivitanCommissioner Frank B Holding moved the Four Oaks C i v i tan Club and the ArcherLodge Community Center be granted permission to hold a fireworks display on Saturday,July 4thCommissioner James W Cash9 Budget Amendmentsded the motion which carried by unanimous voteUpon a motion by Commissioner John M Booker, duly seconded by CommissionerJames W Cash and carried, the following budget amendments were approved; in addition to other fees and charges as proposed; continuation ofSchedule B License; revised building inspection fees; and landfill gate fee of 300 per Ftruck except occasional haulers;ryThe County Manager also emphasized the proposed budget has been preparedwithin the framework of keeping the tax rate as low as possible;
