535Meeting of Board of Commissioners for the County of JohnstonOctober 10, 1961itThe Board of Commissioners of Johnston County reconvened in special sessionon October 10, 1961, at 730 P M, in the Auditorls office, for the purpose ofreviewing specifications for the revaluation of property in the county,with thefollowing members presentH M Johnson, Chairman, J D Bailey, and R G GurleyAbsent Frank B Holdingand Floyd C Price, SrThe following business was transacted1 W R Britt, County Attorney, and W H Britt, Auditor, designated by theBoard on September 19, 1961 to draw up plans and specifications for the appraisalof property in Johnston County presented Specifications for Appraisal of Property,Ownership, Mapping Tax Assessoas Manual and Property, Record Cards for JohnstonCountyPlans and specifications were reviewed in detail with special emphasis beinggiven to special items, which were recognized as not being routine2 W R Britt, County Attorney, and W H Britt, Auditor, were commended fortheir work in drawing up plans and specifications3 As time was of the essence, in order to have specifications in the hands of theappraisal firms as early as possible, Commissioner J D Bailey moved that the plansand specifications as presented and reviewed is copy of said specifications on filein the Register of Deeds Office betentatively adoptedCommissioner R G Gurley seconded the motion, which was unanimously carriedThere being no further business, the meeting was adjournedjlair-41
