Micro 20Pine Level 25Princeton 20Wilsonis Mills 25FURTHER ordered that the budget be filed with W G Massey, Register of Deeds,and held by him in the office of the Register of Deeds for public inspection fortwenty 20 days pending the final adoption of the budget7 On a motion made by J D Bailey, seconded by R G Gurley, the followingresolution was adoptedWHEREAS, it is provided in Chapter 158, Public Laws of 1939 in an act entitledThe Revenue Act of 193911, Under Article II, Section B , License Taxes of saidChapter, as amended, that the counties of North Carolina or any of them may imposeand levy a county license or privilege tax for the privilege of carrying on thebusiness, exercising the privilege of doing the act named therein, beginningJune 1, 1958, and ending May 31, 1959;WHEREAS, the County of Johnston, a body-corporate and politic in the State of fllNorth Carolina, by and through its Board of Commissioners desires to impose andlevy said license and privilege taxes in Johnston County for said tax year 1958 -59in strict accordance with the provisions of said Article II, Schedule B , and toimpose and levy said taxes in amounts to the full extent and limit allowed andauthorized under said Article Ii, Schedule B ;NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVEDThat the Board of Commissioners of Johnston County do hereby impose and levy in I,and for the County of Johnston, North Carolina, for the tax year beginning June 1,1958 and ending May 31, 1959, the license and privilege taxes provided for andauthorized under the provisions of Article II, Schedule B of Chapter 158, PublicLaws of 1939, as amended, and which under said Article the Counties of NorthCarolina are authorized and empowered to impose, levy and collect;
