Free Voting Event at JCC on September 15th from 10am to 2pm

Join us at Johnston Community College in the Learning Center/Coffee Shop lobby tomorrow, Tuesday, September 15, from 10 AM to 2 PM!

The Board of Elections team will be on-site to help with voter registration, absentee ballot requests by mail, issuing free voter photo IDs, and precinct official recruiting.

Need a Voter Photo ID?

Registered Johnston County voters only need to provide their name, date of birth, and the last four digits of their Social Security number to get a free ID on the spot.

You can also get a free voter photo ID weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Johnston County Board of Elections office (205 S. Second St., Smithfield).

Under North Carolina law, most voters are required to show an approved photo ID when voting in person. Getting yours set up early ensures a smooth experience on Election Day!
