Johnston County Emergency Services proudly graduated the inaugural class of its “Rising Responders Academy.” Students from across the county gained firsthand experience in the three core disciplines that make up Johnston County Emergency Services: Emergency Medical Services (EMS), the Fire Marshal’s Office, and Emergency Management.

Launched on July 1, 2015, this program was created as an innovative approach to provide preventive care to the most vulnerable in Johnston County and to lower ambulance use by focusing on frequent callers.
